John G. Mateus, Esq. is an experienced appellate advocate licensed in both Massachusetts and New York, and has been admitted in numerous federal courts in both states.
Mr. Mateus has conducted both civil and criminal appeals for the past ten years. He graduated from Columbia Law School in 2007 and has clerked in Federal District Court for the Honorable Terrence W. Boyle of the Eastern District of North Carolina.
Mr. Mateus opened his current practice in 2014. Since that time, he has filed numerous briefs and argued many times in Massachusetts appellate hearings. In addition to serving clients through his private practice, he serves as a bar advocate for post-conviction appeals for the Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS).
